@ShaneHudson I actually think the EU has legislation about this. Worth checking: it's likely that you're considered permanent after a year or even less.
@steveklabnik This is true, but I'm honestly surprised America celebrates labor in any kind of way at all.
The labor movement fought for so many things that benefit all of us. It's fitting, if, sadly, surprising, to have a day to honor them.
@parzzix Not right now but it's on the roadmap. There's a lot of video transcoding that has to be done, and we want to get it right.
@tef Yeah, but compared to Illegal Jack's it's pretty much The French Laundry. Context, y'know?
@jordan_web Not giving up. But other avenues can potentially underwrite that work.
@heyjudesue Didn't you hear? Software is eating the world.
Also, that place rocks.
@pmarca One indicator: the cost of meat was skyrocketing. It's the simple stuff. Even an empire needs to feed its people.
@problemsdog You would know if I was anywhere near there! No, I just saw someone talk about Illegal Jack's online.
There's a lot of value in providing simple, social spaces attached to your existing enterprise identities. Happy to meet that need.
@rchrd_h Not at all. But a surprising number of people argue against starting new things, which I think is wrong.
@peidran @natematias My thinking has moved on. I think the first thing you need is an incredibly focused, vertical real-world use case.
@the_author_ Thanks! She is. Took about a year post-transplant to get to that point, which was scary, but now it feels like a miracle.
@the_author_ Congratulations! It's definitely a journey. 2.5 years after my mom's, I'm in her house right now supporting her.
So many people seem to want to copy Twitter and wait for a business model. News flash: @ev had sold Blogger. None of you are him.
@fj @jf I love the symmetry that you two both favorited that tweet. That is all.
@aidanskinner Massive regulatory and manufacturing overhead and a history of failures. It's very hard. You'll probably lose your money.
@kylewmahan Right?! Ironically, they weren't the children in the situation.
